Thought you had disappeared. Mel and I were out there in Jan to attend his daughter's wedding. I tried every means possible to get in touch with you. After I talked with cousin-in-law Sharron, I sent you and email but never got a response. Keep in touch, girl...never know when this smiling face will be in the neighborhood again |

I talked to your mother in the beauty parlor when I went with my Mom last time we were there. She looked good and caught me up on all the news. What are you quilting these days? I'm working on yet another wedding quilt and back-logged on a few baby quilts....my kids' friends are getting married and having babies.
We went to the Jazz Band Reunion back in May and that was really fun. Saw Johnny Fulcher, John Bryant, Bill Draper, Ronnie Crouch and his new bride, Melodi Ling, Steve Henderson and Mr. Mac. Ann Blane Grubb's mother's memorial service was the next day and I got to see Ann Ferrell Draper and Steve, Anne and Margaret Price at the service. John Fulcher was one of the pastors leading the service. It was very nice. Good to see all those folks. Take care out there in the land of mud and shaking ground! Dawn |

| Hope to see more of the Class of '69 at the Old Dawgs reunion October 15-16(that's a big hint to all those still in the Martinsville area). Denny, stir up those classmates in your area (Dee Dee, Carolyn, etc) and tell them about this site and the reunion. While I was up July 4th weekend, ran into Wanda Smith & Fran Alley at the shindig at the racetrack I and reminded them. Anyone needing a form to register for it should go to the front page of this website and click on the reunion announcement to obtain one if you didn't already get one. |
