Here are the arrangements for Nancy's dad that was in this morning's Bulletin:
Ellis L. Vaughn, Jr.

Ellis Lee Vaughn Jr., 82, of 3709 Ayers Orchard Road, Stuart, and formerly of Martinsville, died Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, at the Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart.
He was born in Henry County on March 28, 1924, to Ellis Lee Vaughn Sr. and Annie Elizabeth Hollandsworth Vaughn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon H. Vaughn and Buran G. Vaughn, and two sisters, Erma V. Utt and Ruby V. Foster.
He served as a private first class in the Army during World War II, including 32 months in the European Theatre. He retired from American of Martinsville, where he worked for 42 years, and he was a member of the Church of Christ of Martinsville.
Surviving are two daughters, Nancy Vaughn of West Palm Beach, Fla. and Debra V. Martin of Stuart; three brothers, Johnny B. Vaughn, Brogie W. Vaughn and Larry E. Vaughn, all of Martinsville; three sisters, Marie Bell and Bessie Chitwood, both of Martinsville and Eva Heckman of Fork Mountain; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Don Street officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Burial Park with military honors by the Martinsville/Henry County Veterans Honor Guard and Army representatives.
The family will receive friends at Roselawn Chapel from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday, and other times at the home of his daughter, Debra Martin, 3709 Ayers Orchard Road, Stuart.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Central and Western Chapter, 2728 Colonial Ave. SW, Suite 2, Roanoke, Va. 24015.
