I SHARE YOUR LOVE OF ANIMALS. MY HUSBAND AND I ADOPT RETIRED RACING GREYHOUNDS. THEY ARE DO WONDERFUL. RIGHT NOW WE JUST HAVE ONE. HER NAME IS ZELDA. WE LOST OUR VIOLET TO CANCER IN NOV. HAVE BEEN IN MOURNING SINCE. JEANE IS IS BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA. TWO BOYS 13 AND 14. I AM AN OLD MEME WITH 2 GRANDBOYS. MY SONS ARE 33 AND 29. OF COURSE I HAD THEM WHEN I WAS 12.

Hello Peka,
It's been years! My memories of you stretch back all the way to Druid Hills - not so
much at Mavahi. It seems so strange to write to someone who might not even
remember you after such an incredibly long time. It was nice to see your name. I'm
glad to hear that you are well and taking care of dogs. Myself, I have cats now. As
a child we always had dogs but working outside the home makes dogs such a
challenge. Cats are way more forgiving if you leave them alone for long periods of
time. I moved away (as you might remember) from Martinsville at the end of our 10th
grade year and moved back to the Washington, DC area. Eventually I left the east
coast entirely and ended up living south of San Francisco. At this time I don't want to
bore you with details so I will write more only if you (or anyone else) is interested. |
