| This is a great site! Interesting to read all the messages. I'm excited about attending the reunion in May - how 'bout you guys? I visited Patrick Henry Elementary and the old HS and it was amazing what the SMELLS brought back. The lunch room at Patrick Henry still SMELLED the same! I remember where the ice cream cart was (I used to buy cremesicles all the time) and how they used to punch holes in our lunch tickets, and how I had to stay one day after everyone left the lunch room to eat my spinach! The auditorium at the high school smelled and looked the same, too. Remember where the smoking tree was, next to the workshop? and the band room? Remember Reggie Blackwell being the radio announcer at the assemblies and Joel Morgan singing "When I Saw Her Standing There"? AND the rose pedals in the aisles when we graduated? Oh well, care to reminisce? |
