Do you mean Mona Lisa McDaniel? If so, she was murdered many years ago, and her ex-husband was only recently charged with the murder. It was in the Martinsville Bulletin. I've forgotten the exact dates.

That is really sad and terrible to hear. I knew her when I was in about the 9th or 10th grade? She was a senior i think and was chummy with the school libriarian at MHS at the time. I know she went to Va. Union in Richmond and became involved/interested in the Bahai Faith. I am sorry to hear this and hope that whoever did this is brought to justice! She was a wonderfully warm person!
