Gene Maurice Foster Sr., 54, of 206 Fourth St., Martinsville, died Monday, Aug. 17, 2009, at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, N.C.
He was the husband of Gloria Gravely Foster of the home.
Hines Funeral Services in Martinsville will announce arrangements. |

Gene was a good guy. I remember that he was the only African American student in all of Patrick Henry Elementary in the 6th grade, and I often admired him for how well handled that situation.
