PAUL DOUGLAS WAGONER
January 24, 1955 - April 13, 2023
Paul Douglas Wagoner, 68 of Martinsville, Virginia passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at his residence. He was born on January 24, 1955, to the late Ernest Alfred and Mary Louise Swain Wagoner.
Paul attended Chatham Heights Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Martinsville High School. He never met a stranger, was very much a people person; never missed birthdays or holidays with his family, whom he enjoyed spending his time with. He was always willing to help others, loved NASCAR, loved his cats and made sure they were well taken care of, he was a very strong- willed man and would give you the shirt off his back.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Wagoner.
He is survived by his daughters, Holly Carr and Amanda Wagoner; sisters, Pam Kidd (Jerry Kirkham), Carol Dyer (Bill), Janet Wagoner; sister-in-law, Debra “Debbie” Wagoner; brother, Jeff Wagoner (Gail); grandchildren, Tristan Morris and Kaleb Carr; and many loving nieces and nephews. |
