Roland B. Carter The funeral for Roland Brian Carter, 49, of 324 Clift St., Martinsville, who died Jan. 23, 2005, at Memorial Hospital in Martinsville, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home. The Rev. Albert Robertson and the Rev. Eddie Mishoe will preside. Burial will be in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. today at Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home, and other times at the home on Clift Street. Carter was born on June 3, 1955, a son of the late Marie Hill Carter and John Thomas "Tom" Carter. He attended United Christian Holiness Church and he was disabled. Surviving are two brothers, Gerald L. Carter and Richie Lynn Carter, both of Martinsville; a sister, Glenda C. Wishnevsky of Martinsville; and a niece and a nephew.
