| Sympathies to Amy King on the passing of her father. He was a colorful, demanding teacher and, hands down, the BEST writing teacher I have ever had. If it hadn't been for his teaching, I would NEVER have passed freshman English. |

| Best to Amy and the King family. Ditto to what Kathy said. I never had a better writing teacher and I loved his teaching method. I often reflect on those group critiques and how much they improved all of our work. |
