How about it Who is still in Martinsville?
I live in Greenville, SC and can be there in under 4 hours. Couldn't we just rent Forest Park or Chatmoss for a saturday evening of
good music (70's), good conversation and minimal food. If someone will email me Wil Pannill's number ill ask him to get behind it. I think it would be wonderful to see our classmates from an easier time?? June Monohon Crouch |

Re: 40 Year Reunion |
I was trying to think who June Crouch was - and it's June Ann! Girl . . . I live an hour up the road from you in Gaffney, SC. From what I understand, Jennifer Foley, Steve Draper, Connie Curran and folks are usually the ones who have been setting up the reunion. Jennifer moved to Richmond, Steve is extremely busy being Sheriff and Connie is busy with the restaurant. Don't know what (if anything) will be done. You might check on classmates.com and see if Will is listed . . . or, you can go to Facebook - I know he's on there. Where it stands now . . . looks like our 40 is gonna' pass us by. /sigh |

Re: 40 Year Reunion |
I know Jay Frith was involved last time, as well, and Paul Toms helped out with the cost last time (they went all out, and turnout didn't support what was spent). I'm just down the road, outside Atlanta, and I know there are several people here as well, including David Young, Sarah Lane, and Harry Prillaman. My husband's high school decided that they couldn't get enough of a turnout from just one class, so they do annual reunions for all the classes from '65 to '85, I think. That might be a better way to go - invite everyone from, say '69 to '79 - the first decade of the current Mavahi. Just a thought. Maybe we could do it around Thanksgiving or next summer. |
