| I have been looking for Patricia Rakes or Ernestine Rakes for a number of years. Ernestine was younger than Patricia. The last time I spoke to their mother, many years ago, Patricia was in California and Ernestine was in Galax or Independence, Virginia. Does anyone have any information on either of these two? |

Peka,
This is your old neighbor Jim (Jimmy) Bush. I just replied to a messagae that Brooks had left on the '73 message board and happened to see your message here when I was looking around. I've been in Newport News for the last 27 years working at Newport News Shipbuilding. I've been married for 21 years and we have two teenage boys. David has been in Florida for about 20 years working for Disney. My parents are still alive and kicking. They live in Floyd County a few miles off the Parkway. I have fond memories of your family. I can remember your Mom picking us up from Druid Hills School in that big Cadillac and your Dad pulling us around the yard in that wagon he had hooked to his little tractor. Anyway, I have also wondered what happened to Ernestine and would like to get in contact with her. If you hear anything, please let me know. |
