Hi All,
As a member of the class of 72 I have enjoyed reading the postings that others have put here and was just wondering if there are any plans to have a 35th reunion this year.
I have some fond memories of high school and some not so fond. I couldn’t get away with anything as my father was teaching Auto Mechanics there at the time and always seem to know whatever I did or tried to do before I got home.
I was saddened to read about Coach Lawrence Ivey’s death recently. I have a lot of memories of him in Junior High. I will always remember teachers such as James Haley in History and having to memorize the new alma-mater and fight song that was composed by Ruth Pace.
If anyone knows of a Reunion planned for this year please post info for all to read.

Mike,
I too am interested in information on our next reunion. I vaguely remember talk of a 35th reunion at our most enjoyable 30th. Shall we form a Reunion Committee? Do we have such a Committee in place? I'm certainly willing to help.

Hey Mike & Cathy -
When I talked to Steve very briefly (a couple of years ago), I asked about it at that time. Also, on Classmates.com, I believe Steve posted a list of names and addresses he needed for the 35th Reunion. So if you're on the list, email Steve with your address, and if you recognize anyone else on the list, email them as well.
We hope to be there as well . . . but I need some notice to put in for vacation time - making it a long weekend with my Dad & Stepmom.
You know, we lost classmates BEFORE we even graduated - Bonita Ramsey ('69), Melvin Pedigo ('70); Robert Gravey ('71) and Myra Davis ('72). Since then, Silver Williams passed away and Gary Peters (who was a class or two behind us) died 3 years ago - and these are just the ones I'm familiar with. And Mr. Finley and Mr. Cumberledge - great principles.
Anyway . . . good to see you guys on the board. Check out Classmates.com and make sure Steve has your address.
