I read the following in the Martinsville Bulletin (online). Congratulations, I know the Mason parents are very proud!!Congratulations
"Mason named all-district
Elon University junior OL Brandon Mason, of Martinsville, was selected to the 2003 College Sports Information Directors Association University Division Academic All-District III Football Team.
Mason has started in all 11 of the Phoenix's games this season, fashioning an 82-percent season-film grade to go with 23 linebacker knockdowns, 11 pancakes and no sacks allowed from his center position.
A senior academically, Mason, a double-major in business administration and accounting, has forged a 3.83 cumulative grade-point average over six semesters. He has appeared on the President's List five times, the Dean's List once and the Athletics Director's Honor Roll six times during his career at Elon. He is a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma, Phi Eta Sigma, Phi Kappa Phi and Sigma Beta Delta National Honor Societies."
