Remembering Jamie - 21

A Big Man; A bigger Heart. When I first met Jamie in the sixth grade, the first impression he made on me was his size and strength. That soon melted away to knowing someone who was genuine and loyal and big hearted. Jamie had no interest in being intimidating or taking advantage of his strength (except against those opposing him on the wrestling mat or gridiron). He possessed character, self control, and great leadership skills on and off the field and truly earned the respect of those who knew him and loved him. Jamie is someone that you will never forget, not because of this statue, but because of of his heart.
