| Yes, I agree it was a great choice. At our ten year reunion I told Bobby he would be head coach one day! He said, "Naaaaa Tom ... you are crazy, Taylor will out live all of us!!" ha ha ..... We joked that night about how Taylor would never leave that field. What a shock to know a few years ago that he had retired from coaching. I can still remember Taylor and Bobby's coach/player relationship. All Taylor had to do was have 7 seconds to pump him up before the defense took over and Bobby was in the back field with at least one hand on someone's jersey on that first play. All my years of playing with Bobby I always remember how he was "Mr Hussle" on the field. Nothing stood in his way and I do hope for the same results as he takes over as MHS Coach!! |
