| Just wondering if everyone but me received this "infamous" letter that was to be mailed out "any day now". It's now October 4th, I suppose the Reunion is tonight, but since I've neither heard from or received information, I guess I won't be attending. Perhaps if we have another reunion in a few years there can be more planning and information to classmates than just a few sketchy emails! I hope everyone that actually knows about the reunions when and whereabouts will have a great time!! Would like to hear others who are pleased with this "fine reunion planning"!!! |

Amy sorry you missed it Rod and sandy put a lot of time in to setting this up I'm sure.
They had a large undertakeing trying to find us all. The Information was here for someone to put it togather. They have lives too and what time they could find went in to setting this up.
I'm truly sorry some how the information did not get to you. Did you email Rod or sandy or call them.We all must help in this it's not just up to them.
I did not get some information so I emailed and called. Then I too spent many hours tracking people down. Found a few but many I did not. Maybe next time we can all do a little more to help. If you know of some Rod is keeping a data base of emails get them to call or email Rod his Email is on this site.

Hi Amy! I did not get a "mailed" letter about the reunion either; but I was emailed. I, like Brooks, called, emailed, and bugged the heck out of just about everyone that I had an address/phone number for. And I checked here almost daily for any new info. Putting together a reunion--either class or family--is HARD WORK. (I ought to know...trying to plan a family reunion now for summer 2004....and it AIN'T EASY TO DO ALONE!!!!!)
The information was placed here on the school website for all to see....(I think most of Martinsville High's alumni know it's here since people do tend to leave posts on the message boards.) Unfortunately, you're not going to get EVERYONE there for one reason or another. I, too, applaud the efforts put forth by OUR CLASS OFFICERS who WE ELECTED before our senior year. They have their lives, careers, and families to take care of just like you and I. And, come 2008 (SHEESH! THAT SOUNDS SCARY TO SAY THAT YEAR!), just like this year, I'll offer my assistance in any way I can. Squeaky wheels get the most oil, honey. Ya can't start squeakin' after the oil has run out!
