Hey Everyone,
Just a note to say hello to everyone from '83. I'll be turning 40 years old this Friday the 5th of Nov and was just remembering our high school days and thinking about how much I have accomplished. It seems like yesterday we were roaming the commons of Mavahi and our worries of completing homework, term papers, relationships gone bad etc. seemed like a big problem. Now with today's world those minor things are just a drop in the bucket with the things going on in the world today. We need to be thankful for what we have, our families, and for the close relationship this class still enjoys. Just remember when you think you have it bad, there are other people in this world who have it even worse. Serving this country in the US Navy for 20 years and having retired and very proud of it and knowing there are service men and women who are still in there protecting mine and your freedom makes me proud to be called and American and enjoy the freedom this country enjoys. Peace and Happiness to you all my fellow classmates.

HEY, DARRELL I KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO TURN 40, I WILL BE 41 NOV.1. THE FUNNY THING ABOUT GETTING OLDER IS THAT NOW WE ARE OUR PARENTS. TIME HAS GONE FAST AND I LIKE YOU HAVE REMEMBERED THE GOOD AND THE BAD. BUT TO LIVE TODAY IS A GOOD DAY. FROM ONE VET TO ANOTHER, I THANK YOU AND ALL SERVICE MEMBERS WHO HAVE SERVED US. CLASS OF 83,THIS IS FOR YOU. WE NEED TO REMEMBER EACH OTHER BECAUSE AS WE GET OLDER THE ONLY THING WE WILL KEEP IS THE MEMORIES OF TIME GONE BY.NO ONE CAN EVER TAKE THOSE AWAY. WE DON'T NEED AN OFFICIAL REUNION TO GET TOGETHER. ALOT CAN CHANGE IN FIVE YEARS. SO DARRELL, YOU RIGHT, WITH WHAT'S GOING TODAY SOME THINGS ARE MINOR. TO MY CLASSMATES, MY FRIENDS, MY FAMILY, BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT YOU ARE TO ME BECAUSE WE HAVE BEEN TOGETHER SO LONG, I SAY MUCH LOVE AND RESPECT TO ALL. LET US NOT BE STRANGERS. CONTACT EACH OTHER, TALK TO EACH OTHER, BECAUSE TOMORROW IS NOT PROMISED TO ANY OF US. LOVE TO ALL

| YO DEMO Happy BIRTHDAY turning forty is not to bad your just 1 year closer to qaulafing for AARP,medicade,and the senior discount at Dennys.But my brotheri know what you mean what once was a big deal back then is now small and you come to understand what is truly meanifull in life.Has i said it before iam very greatfull for the service you and all our American bros&sisters give and have given.It is an HONOR to be the freind ofaservice man or woman.remember their is allways ties that bind us all togather |

| A soon to be Happy Birthday to you Darrell, and Happy Birthday to you today Boo! I wish you both many more blessed and happy years. Due to a pagent question, my Goddaughter asked me recently what was the most valueable lesson I have learned in my life. Unfortunately that answer came to me way to quickly, since I learned that lesson recently when her mother(Delphine Pritchett Magee)was killed, and that is never take for granted that those people dearest to you will be there the next day, hour or moment to tell them you love them. |
