Hello Everyone,
I'm so sorry that I wasn't able to make it in town for the reunion. My work schedule was crazy. By the time that Friday arrived, I found myself checking available flights. I would have loved to have seen everyone, but the death of Delphine was unbelievable. Nicky, Monique and I talked about it afterwards.
John, that was a truly moving tribute. I will look for this book. Delphine and her children were and are still in my prayers. She had a beautiful spirit who is now helping others on their journey. Even as I write this, I feel a saddness for not being there. Life is too short. So in case I've never told any of you...I love you and miss you. Friendships are very rare and I've valued each one of you for your thoughtfulness, kind ear, kind heart or craziness to make me laugh.
I will be home the Sat. before Thanksgiving. Please let me know if anyone else will be there. I would love to see you all!
Much love,
Pam |

Hey Pam, I missed seeing you at the reunion. I saw a picture of you and I in the annual when you were on the homecoming court, boy did I look dorky!! Anyway, it was very tragic about Delphine, her locker was beside me all through high school, and I was going to kid around with her about how her name was called out when it was time for me to receive my diploma. You are right about life being too short, we must treasure each and everyday...hope to see you one day...your friend Harvey. |
