| Just recently found this site and for the past few days have been walking down memory lane. My name is Lee (H.L.)Smith "56" and my wife is Laura Kidd "57". We live in Eden, N.C. On occasion we ride up to Martinsville to see some of the old places Joseph Martin school, Snow's, the ice plant, the REAL high school, etc. We would love to hear from anyone who remembers us or anyone who wants to talk "old times" |

| Lee, I'm afraid that my memory has faded some what.I think that I met you, if you were in the service. Is Laura from Franklin St.? I grew up on Franklin St. next door to Mrs. Kidd. I believe that I know you, Laura, Baby and Duck. You guys missed a good reunionb this month with the "Ole Dawgs" reunion at the school on Cleveland Ave. Glad you found this site. |
