To any of you who ever took "shop" or a woodworking class. A fine teacher by the name of Chester Lane passed away 9/11/11. He was 92 yrs old.

Mr. Lane was a great teacher! The little stool I made in his wood shop class in the 8th grade is still strong enough to use in my kitchen! That little stool has served me well living in Virginia, Tenn, Frankdfurt, Germany, Karamursel Turkey and for our many years living in Hawaii.
