So sorry to learn of the passing of another of our Class of '56 classmates. Wilma Jean was always a sweet, but rather quiet girl in school. My sincere sympathy to her family.
Obituary for Wilma Jean Lancaster
Wilma Jean Lancaster, 79, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away, Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at her home. She was born March 28, 1938, in Martinsville, to the late Ivron and Rhoda Dickerson Lancaster. She was a lifetime member of Starling Avenue Baptist Church.
Ms. Lancaster is survived by numerous cousins.
The family would like to give special thanks to Jeanette Harris, caretaker for 5 years, and to Midge Huddle who was a very helpful friend.
A memorial service will be Friday, November 10, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Chaplain Jeff Rhea from Mountain Valley Hospice officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the donor of your choice.
