I was so saddened to read of the passing of Tommy Wall. He was always so nice and gentlemanly when I would see him at Norris or Wright's Funeral Home. My deepest sympathy to his family.
Obituary for Tommy Coleman Wall
Tommy Coleman Wall, 85, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital in Henrico, Virginia. He was born May 4, 1937, in Martinsville, Virginia, to the late Clayton Wilford Wall and Eunice Barrow Wall. He had retired from DuPont after thirty years of service. He went on to work for Norris Funeral Services and then Wright Funeral Service for many years. He also spent his time volunteering at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. He enjoyed sports and rooted for the Red Sox and Pittsburgh Steelers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Walker Wall; son, Tommy Lynn Wall; and sisters, Martha Witt and Betty Curry.
Tommy is survived by his daughters, Deborah (Debbie) Evans (Marshal) and Catherine (Cathy) Dayton (Mike); brothers, Jimmy Wall and Henry Wall; grandchildren, Christopher, Trezlynn, Zachary, Ashley and Clay; and great-grandchildren, Iain, Caitlin, McKenna, Evelyn and Sloane.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Roselawn Burial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 17, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
