OBITUARY
Francis Teague White
July 14, 1938 – October 14, 2024
Obituary of Francis Teague White
IN THE CARE OF
Caughman-Harman Funeral Home - West Columbia Chapel & Southland Memorial Gardens
Francis "Frank" Teague White left this earthly life October 14, 2024. Leaving to mourn is a large loving family and many wonderful friends comforted in knowing he now rejoins his wife and best friend of 44 years, Kaye.
Frank was a friendly, generous, and loyal man that enjoyed living life. Our hearts are broken and rejoicing that he is surrounded in peace and reunited with Kaye, Beth, Joe, his parents, his sister Ruth and his Remy dog.
Frank spent a lifetime in sales from early beginnings selling cemetery lots to multi-million dollar renovation projects. Through all those years Frank had an uncanny ability to befriend those in need regardless of their circumstances. He created a legacy of lifelong friends and you didn’t have to venture far in Columbia to find someone who knew Frank.
Frank’s greatest joys were his family, friends, good food/wine, traveling, the ocean, the Gamecocks and supporting all in pursuit of their dreams. He was a knowledgeable man with big picture point of view and a keen sense of humor.
Frank was born in Martinsville, VA on July 14,1938 to parents, Claude Hugh and Louise Minter White.
Left to love the life they shared with Frank are brothers, Mick, Ken and Bob; children, Mike White of Columbia, SC, Kathy Griffin (Wayne) of Richmond, VA, and Laurie Becker of Portsmouth, VA; grandchildren, Kyle White, Andrew White (Tiffany), Kevin Becker (Suzanne), Lauren Kinser, Emily Merget (Kevin), Sam Griffin, and Ava Mary-Kaye White, great-grandchildren; Kelsey, Alyssa, Savannah, McKenzie, Jack, and Griffin.
The family would like to thank all of the medical staff at Lexington Medical Center, especially the staff on the 9th floor and the wonderful angels on earth with Heart of Hospice.
Please celebrate Frank’s life with friends and family at Caughman Harman Funeral Home – West Columbia Chapel, 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170, on Saturday October 26, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM by sharing stories and memories.
In lieu of flowers please consider making a contribution to a charity of your choice.
