Will we ever forget her beautiful voice?
When I was living in Washington DC, I saw Priscilla on the TV show "What's My Line?". Remember that one? Four contestants, all pretending to be the person with an "unusual job", and the celebrity panel had to guess who the real person was.
Priscilla was a "pretender" and at the end, when each contestant told who they really were, she said she worked part time at the Metropolitan Museum. So,I wrote to her in care of the museum, and they forwarded my letter to her. When Priscilla and her husband, Alberto Figols (also a concert vocalist), returned from their South American concert tour, she answered my letter.
I brought them into D.C. to perform at a mega-important formal ball at the Officers Club on Bolling AFB, headquarters command for the Air Force.
Priscilla and Alberto were a big hit.....and that will be no surprise to all her classmates who "knew her when"!!
Where is she now? If anyone knows, put us in touch with each other. |
