Long Live MaVaHi! - 3

Had I took school as seriously as I should have, I would have graduated with the Class of '56. Dropping out of school was without a doubt my biggest mistake - and, believe me, I made a few in my life time. But, I have my memories of MaVaHi - and friends that I will never forget - and I cherish all of that very much. Where else could I have met and got to know such fine people as Junior Hill, Percy Painter, Lloyd Riddle, Esther Sparks Power and Ann Minter Been? And, of course, Bobby Wingfield - I just recently re- contacted Bobby and well recall how he run wild on Ben Ramsey field at a member of the Bulldog football team. The Bulldogs moved on to a new school and new playing field - but, I will never forget singing "the maroon and the grey, MaVaHi" so many times in Ben Ramsey field.
