Hi Everyone, Just returned from breakfast at
Clarences that was the grand finale of our
weekend. To any of you who were unable to
attend, it was the best one yet. Friday nite
we had a sorta' informal welcome for eveyone
and a great chance to get reaquainted with
everyone at the Dutch Inn. Saturday AM
breakfast at Shoney's with a continuation
of memories shared. Then off to the old
Martinsville High School for a walk down
memory lane; back to the Dutch Inn for some
more goodies in the hospitality rooms. The
Reunion Saturday at Lynnwood Club, with
wonderful entertainment by Pricilla and
Alberto and we so enjoyed John on his horn.
They just get better each time. What a week-
end.!! Did anyone out there enjoy it as much
as I did? Lois Stanley Flippen Class of '56 |

Darn right, there is someone out here that enjoyed the reunion as much as you, 'cause
no one could have enjoyed it more than I did! You folks on the committee really did a great job. Wasn't that a real hoot to actually be authorized to write our names on one of those sacred walls of old Mavahi?

Re: Class of 56 - 45th Reunion |
I would like to "echo" remarks made by
Esther Sparks Powell. My "hat is off" to
Ann Minter Been, Benny Eanes, Carol Pratt,
and all others that put this reunion toget-
her. GREAT JOB! The highlight of my first
reunion attendance was having the honor of
sitting at the same table with Coach W. K.
Putney. It was a real thrill to see him
once again. Of course, sitting at the same
table with Esther Sparks Powell and her fine
husband, Brewster, was also a thrill as they
both are excellent folks and friends. |

I THINK MY COUSIN, VIRGINIA ANN JOYCE WAS IN THIS CLASS. CAN YOU CONFIRM? SHE WENT ON TO WILLIAM AND MARY AND NOW LIVES IN RALEIGH.
THANK YOU,
