My brother Bart sent me a link to this site and I am so glad to hear what people are doing now. I have spent the better part of my children's nap time reading everyone's messages! I would love to hear from anyone and I cannot believe we are coming up on our 20th reunion. I plan to be there with bells on!! I am living in Concord, NC with my husband Michael Bestler (remember Matthew?) and our 3 children. |

Re: Hello! |
Hey Kara! It has been so long. I just spent an afternoon with Sara and Lisa Wharton (2 weeks ago). Were you ears burning we talked about everyone and wondered what happened to you. We pulled out the ol' yearbooks and laughed and cried. Sara and Lisa both look exactly the same. I haven't seen them since I left mavahi in the 10th grade and moved to Texas. I'm living in Houston now have been a flight attendant for 11 years now. That's how I was able to see sara and Lisa I was in Fort Lauderdale on an overnight and sara came to pick me up and we met Lisa. I'm telling you I about fainted when I saw them. What a treat! I have so missed all my Wirginia friends. This summer Sara, Lisa and I are going to Martinsville (June) and we are staying at Shay's mom and dad's. Shay is setting everything up. You should meet us there it will be so much fun! Great to find you. I remember riding that school bus with you! |

What a great site!! |
Hey Kara! Emily told me about this site and I am so excited to be able to catch up on what folks are doing. Like you, I read through everyone's messages for multiple classes and it was loads of fun.
Sounds like our lives are pretty similar; I have a 6 year old, Tyler, who is in kindergarten and a 4 year old, Meghan, who is in preschool three mornings a week. I am fortunate enough to be a stay at home mom as well, but don't have the 1 year old to add to the excitement.
I go to visit mom in Martinsville every couple of months, so let me know when you are going for a visit with your dad and maybe we could get the kids together to play and we could catch up. What a change from high school days, huh? I wouldn't change a thing though!!
Glad to hear you are doing well!
Lynn
