Haha.
Man, I find it quite surprising that we were unable to coordinate a class-reunion. I wonder what went wrong? Lack of contacts? Lack of interest? Too expensive? Who knows, but I do hope that we can learn from this experience, and make it happen in 5 years. I really find it hard to believe that our class is the first one to not hold a ten-year in who knows how long. I would even move for, at a minimum, attending a football game as a class and then having a basic barbecue. The reunion does not have to be the event of the decade. The number of people attending is not the issue. The issue is providing an opportunity/venue for those wanting to see their classmates.
Okay, enough on that. Life for me is going well. I am living in Charlottesville teaching 6th grade (I know! Who'd a thunk it!). I absolutely love my job and the area where I live. During the summers I lead high school trailcrews at various National and State Parks around the country. So far the program has taken me to New Hampshire, Minnesota, and New York. Not sure where I will be this summer, but I am pushing for Montana or Wyoming.
