Reunion Date: October 12, 2002
Reunion Activites:
FRIDAY, OCT 11TH: 7:00 P.M. Homecoming Football Game
SATURDAY, OCT 12TH: 7:00 P.M. Reception at The Gallery with Mr. Butler as DJ.
Ticket Price Per Person: $25
MUST purchase tickets in advance. Tickets will NOT be sold at the door. Contact Cindy Poindexter Hill ASAP if you plan to attend but have not sent your money in yet.

Accommodations: We blocked 40 rooms at the Dutch Inn at a discount rate of $55 plus tax per night (w/breakfast - MANY THANKS TO LISA PICKETT). You may be able to take advantage of discount rate even though the Sept 30 deadline has passed. Contact the Dutch Inn for further info.
Here are answers to some questions that I have received recently:
Football Game:
The football game starts at 7:00 p.m.
When we scheduled the reunion last year, the high school indicated that October 11th would be a homecoming game against Patrick County. While we are still playing Patrick County, the homecoming was rescheduled.
We are planning to sit together at the football game. Look for reserved seats closest to the field near the band section. Katina spoke with Mr. Savage and he will reserve six rows prior to the game.
Picnic:
There will NOT be a picnic. We ran into a few obstacles in planning the picnic (i.e. no restroom availability in city parks, facilities booked, etc.), so we decided to drop the picnic activity.
Reception Attire:
Saturday night reception will be "Dressy Casual". Everyone should be comfortable and not feel like they have to dress up unless they want to do so.
Reception Food:
There will be a "sit down" dinner that includes two entrees, three veg, salad, rolls, desert and non-alcoholic drinks.
Dinner will include:
Entrees
Turkey and Dressing
Roast Pork Loin
Vegetables
Green Beans
Boiled Red Bliss Potatoes
Candied Yams
Salad w/ choice of Thousand, Italian and Ranch
Dessert
Apple, Pumpkin, Pecan, Chocolate
Drinks
Tea, Coffee, Soda
If you have any suggestions please let Barrett Payne know. We can make changes up to Oct. 7. With the Gallery's suggestion we thought it would be good to have a social from 7:00-7:45. Dinner at 7:45 and then Mr. Butler start playing dance music around 8:15ish.

Cindy did mention that non alcoholic drinks will be served with dinner. But just to ease some of your minds, beer and wine will be served as well.
