Hello "Class of 1992",
I just received the reunion notice in the mail today and thought I would check out the website. I am sure many more will do the same as mailings are received.
It certainly is nice/refreshing to read about all of the interesting experiences and life changes so many of you have had over the last nine + years. I currently reside in Christiansburg, VA with my wife (Lori) of just over three years and our four and half month old son (Austin). I presently serve as the band director for a middle school and high school in Roanoke County and am about to complete a Master's in educational leadership and administration. The goal right now is to become an assistant principal by next year. The way my son goes through diapers and food, the extra cash could come in handy! Take care and I look forward to visiting this board more often.

Re: Just received the reunion info. today |
I had heard that you were now married man but a dad too. An super educated one at that.My haven't we been a busy little bee. It sounds like you are doing well and very happy. I am jealous you are still in B'burg area. I have come to the conclusion that it is one of the most beautiful areas of the country. I can honestly say that now as I have been doing just a little bit of traveling. I am working with a company that tends to move its people around a bit. I have now lived in Abingdon, VA, Rainier, OR and now Red Wing, MN during the three years I have been with the Company. Not to mention the work I did in Louisiana, Indiana, Iowa, and Arizona. I should not leave out my visits in Tennessee, Washington, California and Wisconson. Now to my point, of all those places none could really compare to Blacksburg / Christiansburg. That area has it all, four beautiful seasons, inexpensive living, not overcrowded (but probably getting there), small time living with a big town feel and I am just green as can be you are still there.
Anyway I just wanted to drop you a line and say that I am glad to hear you are doing well. Unfortunately I probably will not get a chance to see you at the reunion. Too many of my friends are getting married this year so that most of my vacation is accounted for and I have already bought too many plane tickets this year to justify another. Who knows though, I might still find a way. I have your email that will have to do for now. Take care.
