| Johnny and Mary Jones luckily escape tragedy. - 5 |

A couple of weeks ago Johnny Jones(class of58) and his wife Mary barely escaped a devastating fire at their home on Kenmar Drive in Martinsville. Immediately following an explosion believed to be a gas explosion Johnny jumped out of bed and extracted Mary from the shower and exited the home with three more succeeding explosions during their escape.
Physically uninjured themselves the house was totally destroyed with all it's contents. Their Autos were spared but the keys were incinerated along with the home. Johnny and Mary are blessed to have escaped without serious injuries. Unfortunately their every possession and their home is gone. I hope you will join me and other friends of Johnny and Mary in giving thanks for their miraculous safe exit and wishes for a fast and speedy transition to another home where they can resume their retirement. |
