I just received word this morning from Anne
Tuttle Ward's son that Anne lost her battle
with cancer Monday morning, March 8, 2004.
I had never actually met Anne, but we had a
lot of fun e-mailing back and forth for the
past year or so. Anne was quite a character
and I will certainly miss her. |

Very warm and gratifying message, Esther.
I, too, only knew Anne Tuttle by way of
email contact - although I did play summer
baseball with her brother, Arle, in the
early 50's. In spite of never knowing Anne
personally - I feel I lost a very close
friend. She will never be forgotten - for
sure - and may she forever rest in eternal
peace. |
