| Just found this site - wonderful idea! Bruce, you're so nice to remember when I was playing the Alto Sax back then, thank you! Benny's right about the original Melody Boys - of course he would be since he was a member! The band I put together after they all had graduated couldn't hold a candle to the original guys, but we did our best to try and uphold the tradition. I have some tapes of a Melody Boys concert at MHS, from probably 1956 I think - if anyone else also has some they'd be willing to share, I'd be interested in compiling a CD for anyone interested in hearing the band play again. |
