Obituary for Clara Mae Hopkins - 68

Clara Mae Hopkins, 86, of Axton, Va. died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Mocksville, June 27, 1922 to the late Lonnie Phillip Hopkins and Emma Flora Leach Hopkins. She was an active member of Calvary Christian Church. Surviving: her sister, Ruth Louise Hopkins Sowers of Kissimmee, Fla., and her brother, Lonnie Lee Hopkins of Axton, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held Wednesday, Dec.10 at 11 a.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Mocksville, with the Revs. Eldon Morgan and Don Reynolds officiating.
