Clarence Piercall Kearfott - 71

I had the pleasure and honor of working for Mr. Kearfott at his law office in the First Federal building in Martinsville for 16 years. Mr. Kearfott gave me the opportunity of a lifetime when he hired me to be his secretary. He taught me everything he knew about real estate law. I have successfully been closing real estate transactions for 30 years, 13 of which have been in my own business. Success, for me, was due to the kindness and generosity of this delightful southern gentleman who saw potential in a young girl who really did not know where she was going in life. Mr. Kearfott passed away here in Richmond, Virginia two years ago. I miss him terribly. I love you, Mr. Kearfott, and I thank you for everything in my life.
