Raymond B. (Ray) Wilson - 75

Today is Raymond's 90th birthday. He never attended Martinsville high School, but if he had, he would have been a memembe of the class of 38. He was born in Oakdale louisiana in 1920, and like so many of his generation, he couldn't finish high school becasue of war, depression, and just tough times. Three years ago, he was awarded an honorary high school diploma from the Virginia Department of Education for his committment and service to our community.
Raymond arrived in martinsville in 1943 after serving two enlistments in the US Army. I proclaim him an honorary Bulldog, Class of 1938
