| Ruth Hopkins Sowers, 91, of Kissimmee, Florida died Saturday, February 11th, 2012. She was born in Mocksville, North Carolina on August 18, 1920 to Lonnie Phillip Hopkins and Emma Flora (Leach) Hopkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Ira Sowers; a sister, Clara Mae Hopkins and a brother, Lonnie Lee Hopkins. She is survived by one son, William Ellis Sowers and wife Diana of Delray Beach, Florida; two daughters, Ruth Louise Sowers of Madison, North Carolina and LaVerne Sowers of Kissimmee, Florida; three grandchildren: Rebecca Stellino and husband Frank, Shelby Lomen and husband David, and Joseph Sowers; four great-grandchildren: Dylan Pravato, Jagger Lomen, Cosmo Stellino and Zenaida Stellino. Arrangements under the direction of Osceola Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 1717 Old Boggy Creek Road, Kissimmee, FL Home, Kissimmee, Florida. Burial will be out of state. |
