Robert is in hospice care and his time is short.His daughter has kept my step daughter inform of his condition. I believe
he is still in Willmington,NC. I do not know
his current address.
Since have seen nothing posted here I thought y'all like to know. It's sad |

| Hi Tommy. I was going to call you but just haven't had the time. I visited Robert this past Tuesday in the hospital. He was at New Hanover Hospital in Wilmington and they were awaiting a hospice bed availability. Robert's attitude is incredibly good and he accepts his condition and is leaving it all up to God. His brother John was there and his awesome daughter was there taking care of so many things for him. He had a parade of visitors and telephone calls while I was there. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers. I'll post his address at the hospice center when I get it. |

I'm very sad to say that Robert passed away this morning at 5:00 AM. He was so very sick but in no pain. There will be a memorial service in Wilmington on Friday at 2:00 PM at Carla's church. I'll post an address when I get it in case any of you are nearby and can come.
