A Friend Full of Life--Gone Too Soon... - 11
05/08/14     Ann Carter Gardner  (1964)      anndink@gmail.com
We lost Sallie Noell in February-2013. I have just found this sad news on my email, from a classmate who is researching names and addresses for our 50th reunion Oct. 10-12, 2014. Sallie was a force to be reckoned with in a great way: Her many accolades are as follows: MHS majorette (1961-'63)----good friend, fantastic sense of humor, and one of the best shag dancers Mavahi has ever known. In the days when girls danced together at Floyd's store before school, I danced with Sallie. We did the Hop, the Stroll, and the Jitterbug every morning before school started at the old M'ville Jr. High on Cleveland. Those were the days. All of my memories of Sallie bring a smile to my face. I shall surely miss her at our upcoming 50th reunion.

With the good news about our upcoming reunion...I'm very saddened about Sallie's death. What a loss. I too remember dancing with her at one of our proms. She did most of the dancing, I just tried to keep up. Always an impish little smile and a quick wit. We had art classes together. She was very talented. I will miss her very much. We love you Salle.
