NOT SURE IF THE LAST HALF OF THIS WONDERFUL LIFE IS AS LONG AS THE FIRST HALF.... DON'T THINK I WILL MAKE THE REUNION THIS YEAR, BUT I HAVE REALLY ENJOYED THE MESSAGES ON THIS SITE, AND THE CLASS PHOTOS. PLEASE KEEP WRITING.

Re: ANYONE TURNED 56 THIS YEAR?
Yes, Jerry, I turned fifty six this LAST year - my birthday is on December 30 - so maybe I'm not quite as old as some! Please try and make the reunion. We would all love to see you and talk over old times . As always, Sallie Noell Montgomery

Re: ANYONE TURNED 56 THIS YEAR?
Richard, good to hear from you. You have been blessed with 5 children and grandchildren. You are still a young 55. wish we could wait on you. Where did you live while at MHS, and where did you attend elementary school. We'll just have a reunion on this site. How about that? Jerry

Re: ANYONE TURNED 56 THIS YEAR?
Jerry, I lived on the northside,Cresent St.. I only attended MAVAHI for 2 yrs. jr.,sr. I was an army brat raised all over the world and the USA. Married Francene Martin , divorced in 85, remarried for the last 16 to a Gretna girl, live in Danville and slave at Goodyear Tire Co. I haven't seen too many of the alumini , I guess they all moved away. I left but came back in 72. I hope I'll be able to come to the reunion but my Mom has been pretty sick she's 81 and lives up near Ferrum, my sister and I try to watch after her. From what I been reading on this site ,most of the class has done good in life. Take care and hope to see some faces I'll be able to remember. Richard

Re: ANYONE TURNED 56 THIS YEAR?
Richard, I don't know if I knew you or not at Mavahi, but I graduated in 1965. I see that you work at Goodyear, and I have a son, Greg Thomasson, who is the plant Environmental Engineer at Goodyear, in Danville. He lives in Greensboro, and commutes daily. Be sure and look him up, and tell him that you are an Ole Dawg of Mavahi...as his dad, and proud of your Martinsville roots. Best regards....Archie
