Ole Dawgs Reunion 2005 - 11
08/09/05     Greg Norton  (1963)      sgnorton@hotmail.com
Judi and I will be attending - does anyone know where we might safely (and legally) park our motor home for Friday and Saturday nights? It is 38' in length and needs to be reasonalbly flat - no connections are needed if we can run the generator without anoying the neighbors - the closest RV parks are at Philpott Lake and Danville - too far for convenience - we used the Walmart parking lot this srpring but did not enjoy having the 100 plus tenagers hanging out and racing their cars for most of the night.

Re: Ole Dawgs Reunion 2005
Hi Greg, Ken Wilson here. Let me make a suggestion. Call Nubby Coleman at Rives Brown Realtors, 800-951-3463 or 276-632-3463

The old Food Lion Grocery Store Building across the street from Druid Hills Bowling
Alley has been vacanat for a long time. The parking area is very large, and nobody uses the property. I think if you tell Nubby your circumstances, he would allow you to park there. It's very close in and next door to the Gulf station...which is now a Marathon gas station. Thie owner of the Marathon station is named buster...he is an RV person too (5th wheel) just in case you might need his services. You would be close to the new Food Lion, post office, a convience store, and a Chinese restaurant. If you need anything else, I'm only a block away on Auburn place.
Good Luck,
Ken Wilson
