Re: Remembering our Vietnam vets |
Hey Susan Lee! Thanks for the info.
From the third thru the seventh grade, I lived
in the county and went to South Martinsville
Elementary School. My best buddy and chum
was Alfred Whitehead, an extremely kind person
and a great softball player. My buddy died in
Viet Nam. What a tragic loss! |

Jenkie, I went to school with Alfred also. All these friends were taken young and have been missed all these years. They sacrificed for the USA and we should never forget. |

My first little boyfriend was an Alfred Whitehead in the first grade but we went to John Redd Smith Elementary school in Collinsville. Could it be the same person?

Hey Sandra Lee!
Alfred lived out in the country--off the
Figsboro Road--past the City Reservoir. I bet
he is one and the same!! |
