TRIVIA: In high school I worked at Globeman's and being
the low man on the pole, had to go to its store in Galax about twice a month to help unload stuff. Anyone else ever
go to that dumpy store? |

This is our first trip here. We had to go to Wally world on the other side of Galax. There was something going on downtown with streets blocked off. Garmin went crazy having to change directions. Then on the way back, they had every fire engine, cop cars, and rescue vehicles going thru town with their lights and sirens on. I have no idea what was going on but it sure made getting back take longer. Plus the noise. Hope everyone has a great week.

| Back from the mountains. Awesome trip there and back. Found a restaurant named Mt Surf Seafood that had a great seafood selection. Go figure! No mountain oysters, though. Either going to the beach to visit Jenkie and Regina and do some fishing or the mountains to pan for gold in July. Maybe both. Hope everyone is well. Take care and be safe. |
