Greetings from Maine - 12
02/10/01     Kathy Mitchell
Hello, gang! Greetings from Maine. We only have about 30 inches of snow in our yard today...been a calm week! It's really lovely but I have been thinking how nice Florida would be. So, we plan to spend Spring break there. I'll let you know Donna so maybe we can meet up. Would love to hear from all of you. Happy Valentine's Day! I love you all. Kathy
P.S. Did I hear correctly that Jimmy Weaver recently passed away? If anyone knows the details, please let us know.

Jimmy Weaver
Bill, thanks so much for enlightening me. I did know about Gary but someone told me they had heard something about Jimmy. I'm so glad that is not true. Hope you are well. Did you retire when DuPont closed? Keep in touch. Kathy

Re: Greetings from Maine
Kathy,
Finally! The Whiz has been telling me about this sit for a long time but I could not pull it up on my computer. Glad to finally be in touch with everyone. What a great Web page. Thanks to however created it.

About Jimmy Weaver: I was probably the one who started that rumor. Bill (Billy to his former school chums)Whisonant told me about Gary Dodson, and my brain registered "Jimmy Weaver." Sorry, Jimmy, for the mixup. That's okay, Billy, you can save your snickering for later when I'm not looking.

Kathy, read in the local newspaper today about the formation of the MHS alumni association, and the Class of '65 reunion in 2002. Is 2002 correct? Thought the next one would be 2005.

Anxious to hear from everyone. Regret I missed the year 2000 reunion.

Re: Greetings from Maine
Kathy,
It pays to read closely...just re-read the article in the Bulletin. The reunion in 2002 is for the Alumni Association, right?
Are you getting this together? Let me know if I can be of help. Don't have a lot of time to devote to it, but will be glad to do what I can. Talk to you soon...
Jackie

Re: Greetings from Maine
I was alerted to this site and thought I would let you know that I am living near Seattle and would like to be contacted when there is another reunion. Would you please pass this information on to that person? Hope to hear from you soon. Pat Weaver Baker
