Re: Sad News
Bill,
I'm sad to hear about Gary's death. I was always in some of his classes, and he was such a nice person. I copied the address and will be sending a note tomorrow.
Hope you're doing okay.
Will

Re: Sad News
Thanks for informing us of Gary's death. He was a nice, rather quiet guy in school. Unfortunately the treatment for cancer is insidious itself. We missed seeing you at the reunion. You know that you always make a grand entrance--so be at the next one. Also, on a personal note, my aunt Patsy Myers died last summer and we sold the property on Dillard. What it will be used for is not known. It looked empty in June when we visited.

Re: Sad News
Gary Dodson, alias "the scholar" in Jones Creek circles. I always tried to sit beside him in any class we had together because he could explain anything to me and had a great appreciation of Cassaba Melons. He was always a true friend! My favorite memory is from Mr. Zirkles physics class, when Mr. Z went into a fit calling us all "a bunch of Oswalds"[as in Lee Harvey]and the room fell silent...and Gary glanced over to me and said in his quiet, knowledgable tone, "The man's Crazy..." I'm glad I got to see him one more time or two at one of these reunions...I'll miss him.
Billy, the last reunion was noticably a couple of octives quieter than usual without you...hope to see you at the next one.
JOHN
