I can't believe it has been another 5 years!
The plans for the reunion sound great!
It will be interesting to see the inside of Druid Lanes--I guess I usually hung out in the parking lot. I hear the Bassett Country Club is lovely.
I saw "Miss Swindell" at my niece's wedding reception last Sat. (Kathy Mitchell made the cake!) Our erstwhile English teacher is planning to attend the reunion!!! What fun memories of her classes. I was in her Eng. class in Jr. year also.
Hey, dawgs, leave a few messages. Let's find out who can get to the reunion---

| I echo your feelings -- it seems like 5 years has gone by quickly. My husband and I look forward to the journey back to Virginia. I am anxious to see everyone again. I hope we are able to pull out a few "newcomers" to this 40th reunion (gasp!!) Since we are all in the same age bracket, there should be no trepidation in seeing the former classmates. We all look SUPER. |

Hey, are there going to be any free passes to "JANIE'S" this year?
Looking forward to seeing the crowd again, and seeing Mz Swindell... I remember English in the home-ec
room and if the wind was right and you sat in the second room back a cigarette could be had around the corner...
as I recall a Mr. Cox used that to his advantage. Keep smiling! |
