Passing of Mary Lou Coulson - 14
10/16/16     Linda Weaver Nolen  (1968)
Sad news to share: Our spirited sister Mary Lou Coulson, 67, passed away this morning in California with son Mackie, sister Peggy Coulson Kent & brother Rixie Coulson by her side. She had survived jaw cancer earlier in her life & recently battled very aggressive lung & brain cancers. RIP. The battle is now over. Mary Lou was the youngest of 10 children of Earnest & Alma Coulson of Galax & Martinsville, VA. She is also survived by her brothers Ernest Wayne, Billy, Jimmy & Johnny Coulson. She was predeceased by her eldest sister Bobbie Jewell & brothers JC & George Coulson. Mary Lou was Auntie Lou Lou to 66+ Coulson nieces & nephews. By her wishes, she will be cremated & her ashes will be at rest in Vero Beach, FL @ a future date. Mary Lou (in pink blouse in photo)was fondly recalled by MAVAHI classmates during Old Dawgs Weekend yesterday.

Re: Passing of Mary Lou Coulson
I lost track of so many people when I left for school in 1967 but I remember Mary Lou as a quiet, sweet girl who was kind to everyone...such a loss...my condolences...Debby
