Hey Everyone, just want to let you know that your reunion committee gals, Judy(Ramsey), Judy(Boyd), and I, have elected to change the location of the picnic/barbeque to now be held on THE PATIO at Forest Park Country Club. So no need to bring your can of "bug spray", etc., and if it happens to rain, we`ll move it inside the clubhouse. Menu will be `Burgers, `Dogs, and all the fixin`s, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Coleslaw, Watermelon, Tea, Lemonade, AND a KEG!! You`ll also have the cash bar open in the club for other choices.
Time will be from 6 `til 9, and the cost will be $8p/p, which you`ll pay on the patio, to receive your nametag and MAVAHI LEI.
Still have rooms available on our"block of 30"at the Dutch Inn ($54.95per night), please call 276-647-3721 to reserve, and mention Class of `67 to receive the special rate. Really nice rooms, and a fantastic free breakfast buffet!
If you had not signed up to attend the picnic, and would like to do so, please send me an e-mail, or call Judy(Ramsey), at 276-638-6001,
as soon as possible, and we`ll add you to the count. We have 60 expected for the picnic now, and would like to make it higher, should be Lots of Fun!!
We`re also expecting 100+ for the dinner/dance on Saturday evening. Please mail in your RSVP if you haven`t already, as after speaking with the club`s Manager, we can extend the cut-off date for you to pay until the 24th, if you can let me know.
Thanks again for the great team effort to everyone in giving us addresses,etc, for contacting all of our classmates. We obviously still have that good `ole BULLDOG SPIRIT!!!
