Merry Christmas! - 14
12/15/05     Debby Davis Morgan  (1967)      DebbyMorgan@msn.com
I realize that I'm not being "politically correct" but "Happy Holidays" doesn't mean the same thing! I hope that everyone is able to cherish the time spent with loved ones this Christmas...we always have a white Chritmas here and I will have quite a bit more snow for Christmas since I will be in Erie with my son and his wife who just moved into their "first" house. Erie is on the lake and feels the full force of the "lake effect snow" in the snow belt so here's hoping we don't have to dig ourselves out!
I miss Christmas in Martinsville because I was always in a Christmas program at Broad St. Christian Church on Christmas Eve and nothing can duplicate those long ago memories...no magnolia leaf wreaths on doors in W. PA and Martinsville had the best Christmas parades ever...I remember watching the parades from the sidewalk in front of my Daddy's store (Davis Feed & Seed) and then walking across to Globman's to shop or just look at the window displays...everything had a bit of magic in it, at least that's the way I want to remember it...everyone stay safe and warm and happy this Christmas!!! Debby
