Mike hope you are feeling better and getting
stronger each day. I was really impressed at the friendship shown by Tally coming down to see you and planning to bring you back to VA. for the reunion. How wonderful to have friends who really take care of you!

Hi Mike, if you're not well enough to come to the reunion we can bring the reunion to your mom's house if that's where you'll be. I'm sure she's a great cook. Tell her to prepare for about 60 people, give or take a few.
If the doctor gave you a DVD of your operation bring that to the reunion so we can critque it plus see how sweet you look while sleeping!
Molly, Pat, and I need a dance partner so get Tally to hose you off and dress you up. Get well Mike!! |

Fellow Classmates, I do thank you for your well wishes. I'm doing Ok and think the recovery is progressing quite rapidly. I will see the Dr. this week for the first time since I left the hospital. He will be so proud of his work that I will have to get him off the ceiling. I have requested that Bob White feel in for me on the dance floor this year. He has to make up for his absence two years ago and show everyone his injuries are totally healed.
I once again thank you, my friends of fifty years, for your thoughts and your prayers and expect the reunion to be the best yet. Please don't let me down!!!!!!!!!!!

| Well Mike, I now fear that by giving advance warning of my being your stand-in, you may have scared off half the lovely ladies that had planned attendance at the upcoming festivities.
